A mom recently wrote a card addressed to all those who teach and volunteer in our Kids Ministry at Victory Christian Fellowship – The Fort, Philippines. I would like to share with you some of the things she said. . . .

”Last Sunday, our youngest son Noah was so excited after church. He said, ‘When we were worshipping (singing) I felt my whole body go weak and I thought I was gonna fall to my knees. Then I felt my whole body was crying out to God and I almost cried.’ We told him he felt the Holy Spirit. He couldn’t stop talking about his experience to us and to his relatives. For the whole week at prayer time, he kept thanking God for allowing the Holy Spirit to get him to feel close to the Lord. We know your work is hard and seemingly unrewarding, but please know you are leading these little lives to be powerful forces for the Lord not only in the future but now. God bless all of you!”- Joy Soriano.

Paul says in 1 Corinthians 15:58 – “Therefore, my dear brothers, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.

I have commited myself to serve for a year and I am really enjoying it. These kids are unbelievable!!!!

It’s amazing how children are contagious with their faith. No wonder Jesus says in Mark 10:15 to have faith like a little child. They hear, respond, and in turn, call on others to follow Jesus.
