Over time, though, I became more aware of being shifted around, and once I was awake, I did not want to be stuck in the seat. I could try any number of books and distractions, but I wanted out, not that I blame anyone, of course. I wouldn't want to be strapped into something unable to see all the awesomeness of a new world, either. I insisted on sticking to this seat, even though it lost its identity as alternate bed.
I’m sad and excited at the same time, realizing what a big step this is for me.
I guess it’ll be a good trade-off.
