I have never thought of going local but I guess Rajo Laurel’s “Athletenique” line is an exemption.

(Splat it!)

His “Athletenique” line is a series of polished and put-together menswear ensembles in pastel, navy shorts, purple detailed blazer and fuschia and orange baracuta jacket that are crisp and clean and yes, offering plenty of complementary pieces to play mix and match with your ever reliable basics.

People who know me know that I am a big fan of all things classic and preppy but hey, I can be fun sometimes with the way I dress.

I have spotted a number of standout pieces from Rajo’s "Athletenique" line, all embracing a sophisticated and modern look while still maintaining a hint of casualness.

I just wish they’d fit me! *fingers crossed* a few more pounds!

Hi! My name's Martin, I found this via Rajo's twitter. Thank you for writing about RajoMan, and Athletenique in particular. I work at the House of Laurel and dare I say, our sizing is pretty accommodating--but if you really need help in that department, we could always just make one in your size for a slight fee-we do it all the time since we only make 4 pieces of each design for a run. That's the beauty of our store--we tailor it to you. So if you're interested, come to House of Laurel and look for me! I'd love to help you out. Cheers! Email me at martinyambao at gmail dot com if you have any inquiries!

Hi Rajo,

You're welcome! You've done an exceptional done creating a line that's sophisticated, modern yet not over the top. I'm a big fan of the pink and orange baracuta like jacket and the half trench in blue.

Martin, I'll definitely drop by HOL!
