Yes, it is pretty obvious I love my reds and you do not have to be on the beach or a yacht to get colorful.

I HAVE ALWAYS BEEN WELL RED

Finally back from my four day trip down provincial south and guess what, a burst of the hottest hue can totally light up your look.

Also, studies have shown that sports team that wear red uniforms win more often than teams clad in other colors. Who knows, it may even pump you up enough to finish boring chores faster - Riiiight!

HAIL TO THE RED,WHITE AND BLUE

I have long been a fan of seersucker and red short trousers.

Being the official fabric of summer (Lucky it feels like summer all year round in the tropics), these short trousers, when worn with a classic solid pique shirt or button down brings oomph to any outfit.

I recently got myself a pair of extremely lightweight red and seersucker short trousers from Ralph Lauren and guess what, they are definitely one of the best hot weather options - think country club chic.

I have always believed that being sloppy is never an option. Beat the heat by cutting it short (just right above the knees).

Of course, no summer look would be complete without a pair of espadrilles, plimsolls and loafers.

WHAT YA SAY WE KICK THIS THING OFF AGAIN

After eighteen hours of no sleep and two hours on the road, three hour energy only gave me thirty minutes of energy before I passed out on my way back before dinner.




(My shorts are meant to be worn short, really short)

You don't really want to be my shoes unless you like to be worn hard.

RAW NOSTALGIA AND LITTLE RED RIDING SHORTS

I couldn’t believe mum just told me I look like a hobo but spends completely like a millionaire.

How can a hobo wear short shorts and espadrilles to Ironman? What am I then? A poorgeois? haha

A pop of color in your wardrobe isn’t bad despite my closet looking like a sea of blue and white but like pot, alcohol and shopping, color can be overdone.




(Also, I found this vintage bag (see photo) made of natural raw leather which reminded me of a smaller version of the letter carriers used during the 1930’s. )

For a look that won’t have the girl right next to you and your family reach for their wayfarers, sport red tailored shorts and a pique polo with neutral espadrilles, weejuns, topsiders or canvas sneaks and you’re good to go.
